When selecting laser safety glasses for use with CO2 lasers it is important to make sure they are compliant with US, European and International laser safety standards.
The laser safety standards require that L ratings, wavelengths and Optical densities are marked on the glasses.
A typical example of L ratings specifications are shown below:

190-315 D LB7 + IR LB4
>315-398 DIRM LB5
9000-11000 DI LB3
Wavelengths and Optiocal Densities are:
10,600nm (10.6micron) - OD 7+
9000-11,000nm - OD 7+
190-398nm - OD 7+
